Abstract

This research implies the study of the relationship between two variables, which are resilience and satisfaction with life. For which, the main objective was to determine the degree of relationship between resilience and satisfaction with life in internal migrant university students. Regarding the research methodology, a Descriptive correlational study with a non-experimental cross-sectional design, the sample was made up of 115 migrant university students residing in Metropolitan Lima, the instruments used to collect the relevant data for this study were the Wagnild and Young (1993) resilience scale and the Diener and Emmons life satisfaction scale. The results achieved in this research determined that the correlation between the study variables is significant (r = 0,567), in the same way the values expressed for the correlations of satisfaction with life and the dimensions of resilience such as equanimity, perseverance, Confidence in himself, Personal satisfaction and Feeling good alone were next (0,558, 0,324, 0,539, 0,482, 0,453) respectively. The research concluded that the higher the level of resilience there is a higher level of satisfaction with life in internal migrant university students from Metropolitan Lima.
